Global Outreach is all about sharing the love of Jesus with the most vulnerable—
across borders, languages, and cultures. Whether through prayer, going, or giving, every one of us has a vital role to play. You can intercede for one of our many partners as they bring hope to some of the hardest places on earth. You can say yes to a global engagement trip and experience the life-changing joy of serving others face-to-face. Or you can give generously to send someone overseas or support the work of our trusted partners in Central and South America, where local churches are bringing real help and lasting transformation. However, you choose to engage, your presence, prayers, and generosity make a huge difference—because when we just show up and love, Jesus changes lives.
Partner Spotlight: Pan De Vida | July 2025

We are honored to partner with Pan de Vida (translation meaning “Bread of Life”), a faith-driven ministry based in Quito, Ecuador, devoted to breaking the cycle of poverty through the transforming power of Jesus Christ. The organization operates with the core belief that spiritual transformation, paired with practical care, can lead to lasting change in individuals and communities. At the heart of Pan de Vida’s mission is the conviction that every person—regardless of their economic or social background—has been gifted by God with talents and abilities that can be used to serve others and uplift their community.
The ministry focuses on serving children and families who live below the poverty line, particularly in the marginalized and underserved peripheral neighborhoods of Quito. Recognizing the systemic nature of poverty, Pan de Vida takes a holistic approach in its outreach. Their programs address not only immediate physical needs, such as food and healthcare, but also long-term development through education, spiritual discipleship, and economic empowerment. By walking alongside families over time, the ministry aims to create sustainable change and restore dignity and hope.
Pan de Vida is committed to doing ministry with excellence. This includes responsible financial stewardship, adherence to ethical standards, and the cultivation of long-term partnerships. These values ensure that the resources entrusted to them—whether financial, human, or spiritual—are used wisely and effectively to serve those in need. The organization believes that integrity in practice and transparency in operations are essential in building trust and achieving lasting impact.
Ultimately, Pan de Vida exists to bring holistic transformation to the lives of families caught in poverty. Through compassionate service, relational ministry, and a Christ-centered foundation, they offer not just physical sustenance but also spiritual nourishment—living up to their name, which means “Bread of Life.” By empowering individuals to discover their God-given potential and inviting them into a community of support and faith, Pan de Vida is helping to rewrite the stories of families in Quito for generations to come.
